I chose to create a cover of the classic, 'Let It Be' by The Beatles because it is simply a really good song, it is catchy and basically everyone knows it. I mainly changed the stucture and the tone colour aspects of the original to better suit the guita, which was the main instrument I used. I also tweaked some aspects of pitch and texture in the peice.

The main changes of the peice was the form and the instrumentation and it made for a more harsh sound yet still not too harsh so as to sound uncomfortable compared to the smoother sound from the piano. I really liked the idea of converting a piano piece on to the guitar as it is interesting.

I used soundtrap to record and arrange my cover. There aren't any effects in my cover due to the fact that they cost money but I used looping and multi tracking.
